Jim Rudy reported that
the screen-printed tee shirts were available. Each member present picked up his
shirt. The group voted unanimously to sell additional shirts for $9.00. Shirts in sizes XXL and XXXL will be $12.00.
Scott Bullions will set
up a table at the tournament on November 12, 2005, to sell memberships
in the club. He will have the tee shirts there.
Those members present voted
unanimously to proceed with the printing of decals. Decals will be in color,
as close as possible to the colors in the embroidered logo on the hats and shirts which are already available. We will order 500 decals at .51 each. We will also obtain
price for a larger decal that could be used on boats.
Those members present instructed
secretary Jimmy Williams to order 25 hats with the embroidered logo for sale to members at $10.00 each and non-members at
$12.00 each.
Discussion was had about
possible measures that could improve fishing in Jocassee. Items mentioned were: (1) increasing minimum size of fish taken from Jocassee; (2) decreasing the creel
limit; (3) limiting fishing for a short period of time after stocking; and (4) closing the Lake for
trout fishing during the summer months. President Mayer is to discuss these matters
with SCDNR for their input. He will report back to the club.
The members present decided
to schedule our next meeting for January. President Mayer is to post the date
and time.
There being no further
business, the meeting was adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,
James C. Williams, Jr., Secretary
